Hi ! I haven’t seen you for ages ! How is it going. Which is better , to your mind. Well , I agree with you but how would you define the phrase ‘ a true friend’. Do you often meet your friends and what do you like doing together. Do you get on well with one another. Have your friends ever caused you any serious problems. And one more question. Why do you sometimes best friends break up. Thank you very much ! You’ve really helped me a lot.
B: O.K. Actually, I’m a little bit short of time but, of course, I can spare you some minutes.
A: Thanks a lot! Why do you think some people have many friends and some have very few of them?
B: Actually, having one friend but a true one is far better than lots of untrue ones!
A: Well, I agree with you but how would you define the phrase ‘a true friend’?
B: Oh, it’s really difficult to describe it but, in my opinion, ‘a true friend’ will never betray you.
A: You are absolutely right. I think in the same way. Do you think people with different personalities can be good friends?
B: Well, I’m nearly sure, they can’t but sometimes very different people supplement one another.
A: Do you often meet your friends and what do you like doing together?
B: Actually, I’m short of time as everyone nowadays but I usually meet my friends at the weekend and we enjoy listening to music and watching films together.
