Anglų analizė. “Pride and prejudice” by Jane Austen.
Jane Austen was a famous English novelist of 19th-century. Her works earned her a place between the most widely read writers of romantic fiction. From the early childhood Austen had been educated by her father and older brothers. All those years she wanted to become a professional writer, but her family was really critical about her development in this way. The most popular of her works are “Sense and Sensibility” which was published in 1811, “Mansfield Park” (1814), “Emma” (1816) and “Pride and Prejudice” published in 1813. With these books Austen achieved success as a professional writer because of her realism and biting social commentaries. “First Impressions” later called “Pride and Prejudice” were begun by Austen in 1796 and completed in August 1797 when author was only 21 years old.
