Sweden has very strong international economic relations with other countries. The imports and exports of this country are made in huge quantities and huge values. Sweden has strong international economic relationship not only with the European Countries, but also with different countries around the globe.

Goal: to analyze and represent the international economic relations of Sweden

The top export destinations of Sweden are Germany ($16.9B), the United Kingdom ($12.3B), Denmark ($11.7B), Norway ($11.4B) and the United States ($10.2B). The top import origins are Germany ($26.5B), the Netherlands ($12.5B), Denmark ($11.1B), Norway ($10.1B) and the United Kingdom ($9.3B).

The picture below shows and explains the main trade partners of Sweden. From this table, we can see that the top export destinations of Sweden are Germany ($16.9B), the United Kingdom ($12.3B), Denmark ($11.7B), Norway ($11.4B) and the United States ($10.2B)

Sweden is economically and politically a very strong country. It has lots of trade partners around the globe. However, the top trade partners of Sweden are Germany, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Norway and the United States. The top import origins are Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway and the United Kingdom. In a past few years, Sweden gained even more trade partners and like that it improved its economic relationship with other countries. Those countries include U.S, Australia, Egypt, Ukraine and many other countries. We can see that Swedish economy keeps on getting better and its partially because of its ability to strengthen relationship not only with the countries that they have been good partners with, but also because it keeps on searching for new countries.

The synopsis for the Swedish economy and its economic relations with other countries is also positive, but if we would look back at the numbers of trade balance with other countries, we could see that in 2014, the Swedish economy was not that strong and its exports were low comparing to the numbers of 2015 or even 2016. During the last two years, Swedish economy recovered and strengthened its relationship with other countries. It was expected that from 2017, Swedish economy will become even stronger and thankfully to some new trade policies, its exports and imports will keep on increasing in the next years.
