Vegetarianism is a form of diet, which has been gaining popularity since the twentieth century. Yet, despite many advantages of being a vegetarian, it also has a few disadvantages.
To begin with, the greatest benefit of being a vegetarian is healthy nourishment. Generally speaking, it can reduce our blood pressure and risk of lung cancer. Therefore, healthy eating increases our lifetime, which has slightly decreased recently. For instance, our ancestors survived for more than eighty years, but now life ratio has come down and reached to maximum of seventy years. What is more, being a vegetarian can help minimize the budget for meals. From a social standpoint, more and more people have their own households, where they grow the abundance of vegetables.
