Seventeen year-old Veronica’s (Ronnie’s) life was turned upside-down when her parents divorced and her father moved from New York City to Wilmington. Three years later, Ronnie remains angry and alienated from her parents, especially her father... Untill her mother decides it would be in everyone’s best interest if Ronnie and her brother John spent the summer in Wilmington with dad. Soon she met her first true love Will. In the end of film Ronnie stays behind to take care of her ailing father. Leading a slow life, she tries to make up for the time with her father that she's lost.
