Brown bear is a very large bear. It can weight from 300 to 780 kilograms. It’s the largest animal of the bear family. Brown bear often was dark colored (rarely light colored), with dark claws. You could found it in dark thick forests. Often they are hunting for it’s beautiful fur. So it’s the reason why it become an endangered species.

It’s a mammal which is a bit smaller than grey rabbit. It weights about 3,5 kg. In summer they fur become grey, so it can easier blend in to surrounding. In summer they eat grass, but in the winter they eat trees twigs. In Lithuania they live only in the forests.
