There are more 7000 languages in the world. 83 languages ​​are used by 80 per cent of the population. 3600 languages are used by 0.2 per cent of the population. About 20 languages ​​speaks only one person in the world. In Europe people speak about 400 languages, and this includes man-made, regional and sign language. Only 3 per cent of languages are used in the Europe. Europeans speak more than one language.

The longest word in the world is the English word pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis (45 letters). The first word spoken on the moon was “okay”. It is not exactly set, but it is supposed that the English language has of the largest and richest word dictionary.
