History of PSA Peugeot Citroën
A lion, with or without an arrow, for top of the range products. A crescent moon for second category product. A hand for third quality.
In nowadays “PSA Peugeot-Citroen" is going to close manufacturing line and relieve number of employees (about 8000 employees) . The main reason is slumping car sales in Europe. The general director of “PSA Peugeot-Citroen" Philippe Varin expects that this would be unnecessary if the government does not reduce expenses of working force.
The Citroën Xantia, the 406's sister car, was a hatchback-only model with no sedan body style.
Peugeot 406 is very versatile and comfortable vehicle. I have this car and I really recommend this one.
