It would be hard to deny, that there are some arguments in favour of death sentence. One convincing argument in favour of execution is that it eliminates the possibility of an escape and future victims. It is maintained that many inmates who escaped from the prison, create a tremendous cost to the justice system in hunting them down. The death penalty can also be a vehicle of vengeance for the victims families. Furthermore, people support the view that legalized killing is a solution to the prison overpopulation issues. It is widely argued that government can invest money for schools or parks without investing for the construction of new penal institutions.
To conclude, I’m convinced that people through their education are questioning the morality of the death penalty more and more.
