Monologue about Books and Reading.

The theme of my talk is about Books and reading. And firstly, I’d like to talk about the given bar chart of the number of books printed in the United States. The provided bar chart shows the millions of books, which have been printed in the United States in several years from 2008 to 2017. Generally speaking, we can see that in each given year there are more than 600 millions new books printed. The largest number of books made was in 2008, where it was about 780 million new books. Less than that was in 2011 and 2014, where we had about accordingly 650 and 640 new books created. But in 2017 we have the second largest number of new books printed - 690, which is more than in 2011 and 2014. This can show us a signal that printed books have popularity, and shortly will not change not only films or social networks, but even will not turn into e-books or audiobooks.
