Leadership essay.

Every great leader needs to have qualities in order to lead and help their co-workers or friends. An excellent leader taps into talents as well as resources in order to support and bring out the best in others. An outstanding commander evokes possibility in others. With traits like confidence, inspiration, patience, youll be viewed as a leader, not a boss and be respected among your comrades.

The funny thing is, that patience isnt often included in the list of primary attributes we look for in leaders. What it does is it tests your commitment and courage. Ben Franklin once said: „He that can have patience, can have what he will“. Note that he didnt said a big NOW in the end. Patience also allows us to suspend judgment long enough to make considered decisions. There were loads of leaders who had enough patience throughout the history. Im not only talking about military leaders, generals, commanders or officers. No there were plenty of others. But for example I‘ll take Joseph Stalin. No communist propaganda here. After succesfully defending his home, he managed to counter-attack and strike the enemy back.

Another value in a leader would be knowledge.
